We As Human

24 hours straight traveling, 5 states, 7 gas station stops, 2 hour doctrinal study and PopRocks for breakfast....Gotta love life on the road:) We'll be arriving in marietta, IL in about 8 more hours for a week of shows their we push further east. Amped to see our friends across the states again as we hop from coast to coast.

Looks like Summertime is sneaking it's way upon us (much faster in some areas of the nation than others!) and in the world of music, Summer means festivals! And on that note, We As Human is PUMPED to hit the road this week on our way to Marietta, IL for Cornerstone 2010! It will be our first year to play the MASSIVE festival and we will be rocking it each night at the Ammunition room. We've teamed up with Live Offensively (.com) to run our own stage and host a slew of bands from all around the country.

From Cornerstone, we'll drive out to Creation East in PA for another first time appearance. 1:00pm on Friday July 2nd, is a day and time that will make the history books as we melt the faces of poor innocent fans who never saw it coming!!! Our stay will be cut extremely short as we hop in the van and head back to Marietta, IL for one last day at Cornerstone, then it's off to Vegas we go! It's looking like we'll be making our way through the South as we pass through the Texas Pan Handle into New Mexico (my home state!). I'll actually get to spend the night at home in Portales, NM for an evening when we play in Clovis, but once again, it will be a short stop in our voyage to Las Vegas, NV.

We As Human is honored to have been asked to play with Project 86 for Divided We Fall, a Human Trafficing Awareness fundraiser. We are all very excited to be apart of this event as well as share the stage with some fantastic bands.

And on a last note, we would like to thank EVERYONE who voted for us in the Rock The Camp competition! As first runners up, we will open for Toby Mac in Nashville, TN for the conclusion of the second week of Camp Electric on July 21st. This is two days before we will be taking stage at Creation West in Enumclaw, WA for our 3rd year at Creation. As always, we are stoked, and and we look forward to seeing you on the road. With the "new and improved" band, it will not be We As Human as usual!

Dang, Ya'll are killin' this thing! Good work! You have taken us to the top 50 in the Rock the Camp Contest and we're still climbin'. July 10th will kick off what could be the most intense tour WAH has ever done. We are teaming up with "The Strength Team" and will be doing a Rock/Break Stuff tour were we will intertwine our rock show with their break show. We will also be playing live during all of their breaks. If you don't know who the Strength Team is, you can check them out here.
This is one tour you are not going to want to miss!

It's official, the booking for our 2010 touring has started and the first two confirmations are CreationFest West and CreationFest East. Our 1st years playing both of them. Gonna be a great year!

We are all home with our families and looking forward to spending some time at home this holiday season. We hope you all have great holday season with your families too. We are putting together our next tour and plan on releasing a new single to the radio in March. 2010 here we come! :)

So, as if I didn't already love my peeps at PRS Guitars for hooking us up with the sickest Guitars on the planet, I called them today to get a couple Q's answered and they answered with more guitar upgrades! I can't prove this but I think our guitar tone is what causes the earthquakes, I'm just sayin';)

I'll never forget this day! We started it by going to Niagra falls for the first time and as if that wasn't enough, we ended the day by watching the sun go down over Lake Erie. Uh......Yeah:)

So we're in the middle of "Festival Season" and we happen to be on the east coast as I speak. Other then the humidity, it's great over here.

We just played Kingdombound Fest in Darrien Lake, NY and we couldn't have asked for a better day for it. It took place in a six flags theme part so of course we had to tackle the biggest baddest coaster in the park! We've had a great time on the east coast so far and look forward to seeing all you crazy mid-westerners again on our way back through.

Wanted to let you all know we are currently recording our new album and I can't wait to get it in your ears! It's good, You may want to clean em first:)

It's gonna be sweet like sweet tea from the dirty south at a BBQ joint were the waiter keeps looking at you funny and you can never relax because eveytime you look turn around he looks away like he's not looking but you know he is because your friends keep whispering "Dude, That guy is looking at you for some reason", so you get nervous and start wondering if there is somthing on your face, but, THEN IT HITS YOU...............this must be what the new We As Human album is gonna be like! Yep.................pretty much exactly like that.

Todays the day we die in a plane crash................Or not. That would be a cool way to go out though?

Actually, we are flying out to Nashville, TN to record our new album. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

One of my favorite things about flying is getting cans of water during the flight. It's wierd, I know, but, I like it:)

Last time we flew, we asked for so many snacks that when we left the plane the stewardesess handed us a garbage bag full of snacks for the road. Thank you southwest!ha

We As Human, P.O.D. and Guitar Center are reaching out to help this little boy in need. Guitar center has donated an Ibanez Electric guitar autographed by San Diego based rock band P.O.D. to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the guitar will go directly to Tyler’s family to help with mounting medical bills May 9th We As Human’s lead singer Justin Cordle will perform solo at the “Unity Concert” where the guitar will be auctioned that night.

Hey all We have had a rockin time out on the road with The Wedding. We are now on the East Coast headed for South Carolina and are looking forward to Florida! Recently we had the opportunity to visit PRS in Maryland, pick up a couple guitars and tour their factory. Those guys are great and we appreciated the opportunity.
